CID Technologies Inc. (CIDTEC) has developed new high resolution silicon-based Charge Injection Device (CID) Imagers and CID-based TV compatible video cameras to operate in ionizing radiation environments. These products provide excellent video images in the presence of radiation levels (in silicon) of (1) megarad/hr and (10) megarads accumulated dose from a 6OCo source! The cameras incorporate unique radiation hardened CID solid state imager technology, and possess formats that are compatible with European (CCIR -768H X 575V) and American (RS170 -755H X 484V) television systems.
