    Nuclear Career

I am currently a Mechanical Engineering Student in Virginia who will graduate in May of 2008. Can anyone tell me how to go about finding jobs for entry level mechanical engineers in the Nuclear sector? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi emgineering,

There are several companies that are hiring entry level engineers, including several utilities. There are several questions that you probably need to ask yourself like...do you want to relocate and if yes, where?.. do you want to work for a larger company or a smaller one? both offer their advantages.

Companies such as Westinghouse are hiring several engineers for their new plant designs but you will probably have to live outside Pittsburgh, PA. GE is hiring engineers for there facility in Wilmington, NC and I think Areva is hiring in Lynchburg, VA.

Of course I would check the job board here as new jobs are added daily.

     I hope this helps!
