Westinghouse gets set for UK construction

Three agreements have been signed by US-based reactor company Westinghouse toward new build in the UK. They could see up to 80% of work on British AP1000s carried out by domestic firms.

Six utilities back Westinghouse design in UK

Six major European utilities are providing resources and sharing the costs of taking the AP1000 reactor design through the UK Generic Design Assessment process, Westinghouse has announced.
